Lab Alumni Accept Professorship Offers!

Leighton Reid C'06 recently accepted a tenure-track faculty position in restoration ecology at Virginia Tech University that he will start in August. Leighton is currently a research scientist at the Missouri Botanical Garden. Leighton is a co-author on a recently published paper with me about forest resilience on the Domain.

Ashley Morris C'97 will be leaving her current position at Middle Tennessee State University this coming summer to start a new faculty position in plant biology at Furman University. Ashley and I are currently collaborating on the hill cane population genetics project.
