Evans Attends the Second Annual Meeting of the Tennessee Plant Conservation Alliance

The second annual meeting of the Tennessee Plant Conservation Alliance (TPCA) was held at the Nashville Zoo on Febuary 11. Dr. Evans continues to serve on the steering committee of the TPCA, which he helped to launch in 2017. Mark Pistrang, botanist for the Cherokee National Forest, is show here giving a presentation in which he talks about the work of Shelby Meckstroth C'17. As a Herbarium Graduate Fellow, Shelby assisted Mark with one of his projects. Coincidentally, Mark was a student in a Barrier Island Ecology class that Evans taught at the Duke Marine Lab in 1988!
