Evans and Neumann Awarded USDA Grant

Dr Evans and Dr. Sarah Neumann were awarded a three-year research from USDA-NIFA to study regeneration in upland Plateau forests using the long-term plots that Dr. Evans has maintained at Franklin State Forest and Fall Creek Falls State Park. Dr. Neumann leads the Forest Ecology Lab at Tennessee Sate University. She is shown here with her PhD student, Izzy Schutte, who will be leading a field crew of summer interns from Sewanee and TSU. Dr. Evans will be serving on Schutte's PhD committee.
